There are four principles for first learning yoga, and I devote one week a month to each principle: Week 1 is getting your legs underneath you. Week 2 is establishing pelvic health. Week 3 is Integrating the shoulder and arms. Week 4 is establishing an integrated practice. In this class you will learn how to do good standing poses and stay stable in other poses such as backbends, abdominal work and twists. Principles of correct forward folding is also learned. Inversions are not appropriate at this level. Register here.
