There are four principles for first learning yoga, and I devote one week a month to each principle: Week 1 is using the legs to support the body. Week 2 is establishing pelvic balance and health. Week 3 is understanding and using the shoulder and arms safely in the digital age. Week 4 is working with the whole body at once. In this class you will learn standing poses and other poses such as backbends, abdominal work and twists. Principles of correct forward folding is also learned. Inversions are not appropriate at this level. Register here.
