Twists act on the body as a strengthening and cleansing tool, and when they’re done well they service the entire spine. The trunk muscles and digestion in particular benefit. In Kim’s Fall Seasonal Workshop, on twists, you will:
Identify how the legs and hips work together to make standing twists challenging but enjoyable.
Use leg and hip stability to activate the abdominals to do their built-in job of supporting the trunk in all movements but especially in the twisting action.
Learn to breathe steadily in twisting poses, which increases their overall benefit.
