I teach workshops around the seasons four times a year. In the cold of Winter, backbends can be joyfully emphasized to bring light back into the body and mind. They’re energizing and, if done well, stabilizing and grounding. Learn the basics of both basic and intermediate backbends — which all come back to the core — and take your practice to a new level. Women, in particular, will learn how to use their low backs to their advantage instead of be in fear over injury or pain. All students will learn to incorporate regular backbending into their lives!
